Murray gets an easy win in Australian Open

Author: Andy Murray has progressed to the quarter finals of the Australian Open after worn-out opponent, Mikhail Kukushkin throws in the towel after a mere 48 minutes of match play.
Despite having the victory all but given to him, the outcome of the match was decidedly in Murray’s favour anyway with the Scot often breaking away. The final scorecard was 6-1 6-1 1-0 in Murray’s favour before the Kazakh opponent had to call it a day.
Kukushkin showed signs of exhaustion almost immediately, presumably as a result of his previous long-running match combined with the considerable heat of the day.
Murray even went as far as to say “It was boring” when speaking about the match afterwards.
