Pakistan smash England apart in the first Test

Author: England gave in to a 10-wicket defeat giving Pakistan the first point of the Test series cricket in Dubai.
Even the ‘best’ of England’s batsmen failed to make a mark. In the first innings Matt Prior scored the best by far: a somewhat meagre 70 runs. Kevin Pietersen and Alastair Cook only managed to score 5 runs between them, gaining 2 and 3 runs respectively.
Pietersen then went out for duck in the second innings, and the likes of Andrew Strauss, Prior and Cook again failing to make any worthwhile impact; each struggling to get more than a handful of runs.
The final scorecard: Pakistan 338 & 15-0, England 192 & 160 and declare defeat by 10 wickets
